Our young toddler classroom provides a warm and nurturing environment that caters to the individual needs of each child. Our qualified staff encourage the children to explore and develop new skills at their own pace. Our classroom is equipped with large windows providing plenty of natural light, soft toys and play structures for learning and movement, and radiant floor heat creating a cozy environment for your little one to explore, learn, and grow. Children entering this classroom must be at least 13 months by September 30th in order to enroll. Below is an outline of a typical day in the young toddler classroom.

9:00 - 9:10 Morning Meeting/Literacy
9:10 - 9:30 Music & Movement
9:30 - 10:15 Outside Time/Gross Motor
10:15 - 10:30 Routine Care*
10:30 - 11:15 Arts & Crafts/Teacher Directed Centers
11:15 - 11:45 Wash Hands/Lunch Time
11:45 - 2:00 Routine Care*/Rest Time/Quiet Activities
2:00 - 2:30 Routine Care*
2:30 - 3:00 Afternoon Snack
3:00 - 4:00 Outside Time/Gross Motor
4:00 - 4:30. Routine Care*
4:00 - 5:00 Math/Science/Child Chosen Centers
5:00 - 5:30 Dismissal
*Routine care includes diapering/potty/hand washing. Routine care is scheduled into our daily routine, however routine care may differ for each child and will be conducted on an individual needs basis at least every 2 hours or when soiled.
