The Environment

We strive to provide a clean, safe and educational environment for young children and their families. Within our care, children develop skills that promote physical, emotional, social and intellectual growth. We believe in being supportive of our parents and we welcome their positive involvement and presence at all times. We further believe that within our environment, children can thrive and have the opportunity to blossom into responsible and contributing members of our society.

Our Staff

We require on-going training for our staff through state classes, orientation videos, in-house training, and other certified professionals in the education field. All of our staff is trained in First Aid and CPR.

Our Philosophy

At Creative Imaginations we strive to provide the highest quality of care by offering a curriculum that focuses on the needs and interests of all children through a mix of teacher directed and child initiated activities that promote and encourage learning through play, self-confidence, and self-esteem which are vital skills in the learning process.
 
Creative Imaginations provides an environment with a healthy balance of social emotional and intellectual support while establishing healthy child to child and caregiver to child relationships. Our vision is to provide children with a rich variety of experiences including hands on activities, exploration, problem solving and solution discovery challenges, and an opportunity to succeed every day. Creative Imaginations will strive to exceed local and state standards for child care.
 
At Creative Imaginations Child Care Center, we believe in starting your child on a fun and enthusiastic path to future academic success by creating a love for learning in their earliest school years. Children of all ages can benefit from the caring and nurturing environment of Creative Imaginations which sets a foundation for positive social interactions, early cognitive and language skills, and physical development. At Creative Imaginations Child Care Center we will:

Curriculum

At Creative Imaginations we believe that children learn best through play based learning which is why we have chosen to follow the Creative Curriculum approach to learning. Creative Curriculum is a developmentally appropriate, comprehensive curriculum which teaches children to be creative, confident learners through the use of child initiated and teacher directed activities. Children will have opportunities to engage in hands on activities which encourage exploration, investigation, and discovery which help to build critical thinking skills and foster confidence in early learners.  

The creative curriculum objectives for development and learning includes 38 research based objectives for successful learning and promote positive outcomes for preschool children. It focuses on meeting the individual needs of each child through engaging and meaningful activities across 10 different learning domains. Children are encouraged to learn at their own pace and developmental level and are provided with activities that are challenging, but within reach. 

​Each classroom will participate in themed unit lesson plans which include learning opportunities in each of the following areas listed below. Themed units are inspired by the children's interests and are implemented in an age and developmentally appropriate manner. Having input on themed units ensure that your child will engage and develop a love for learning in their earliest years
