Toddlers

Our toddler classroom is designed to meet the needs of children ages 2 - 3 years. Children will begin to explore different learning concepts through both child initiated and teacher directed activities. Our toddler room boasts large windows and natural light, radiant floor heat for comfortable, cozy floor play, and provides access to the bathroom for potty training. Children entering this classroom must be at least 2 years old by September  in order to enroll. Below is an outline of a typical day in the young toddler classroom.

9:10 - 9:30      Music & Movement

10:15 - 10:30  Clean up / Routine Care*
10:30 - 11:15  Outside Time / Gross Motor
11:15 - 12:00  Wash Hands/Lunch Time
12:00 - 2:30    Routine Care*/Rest Time/Quiet Activities
2:30 - 3:00      Routine Care*/Afternoon Snack
3:00 - 4:00      Math / Science / Child Chosen Centers
4:00 - 5:00      Outside Time / Gross Motor

*Routine care includes diapering/potty/hand washing. Routine care is scheduled into our daily routine, however routine care may differ for each child and will be conducted on an individual needs basis at least every 2 hours or when soiled.
